Atlanta Rainbow Trout offers swimmers of all levels an exceptional environment in which to train. Whether a swimmer's goals are to get into better shape or to compete in a masters swim meet, there is a place for everyone on our team. Our only requirement for new swimmers is that they be able to swim freestyle. Each of our "practice" workouts is supervised by one of our coaches. They provide creative and diverse workouts in order to make the practice fun, different, and sometimes even challenging. All workouts are tiered for the different levels of swimmers that we have on our team. If you would like to see an example of a practice workout, check out this sample.
We offer a four-day schedule that gives you the freedom to work out as often as fits your schedule. Whether you work out only on weekends or want to party on Friday, we have pool times to fit the life of any busy professional over the age of eighteen. Few members have the time to attend each and every practice, but it’s great to have additional nights available when you just want to blow off some steam. |

We are fortunate to have access to one of the world's premier aquatic facilities. We train at the Georgia Tech Aquatic Center, built for the 1996 Centennial Olympic Games. The aquatic center is now enclosed for year round use and consists of a competition pool with stadium seating, a state-of-the-art diving well, spa, a leisure pool with a waterslide and current channel, as well as an outdoor patio.
The Trout welcomes all swimmers, water polo players, divers, and triathletes regardless of age (18+), gender, race, sexual orientation or ability. Come see what makes being a Trout so special! If you have more questions about joining the Trout, please check out our Frequently Asked Questions page or just send us an email with your question.
